You don't have to heal alone

Trauma Recovery Group

Healing Through Connection

A closed 6-month group for adults healing from childhood trauma, emotional neglect, and relationship wounds. Together we'll create a safe, supportive space to be seen, understood, and empowered to live more fully.

Move from survival. Return to yourself.

Childhood trauma can keep you out of your body and disconnected from yourself and others. In this group, we grieve what was lost, understand the patterns that still affect you, and create new ways of relating—to yourself and in your life.

The group aims to teach how to have a healing relationship with ourselves and our inner child.

About me

A compassionate guide for your healing

My approach is strength-based, experiential, and action-oriented — I believe healing happens not just by talking about the past, but by working with it directly. Through storytelling, writing, acting things out, and creative exploration, we rework old patterns so they stop running your present-day life.

I especially love working in groups. There's a particular power in healing alongside others who understand and have the same goals — you get to be witnessed, supported, and seen in ways your family may not have been able to offer. That sense of belonging is often where the deepest shifts happen, in how you relate to yourself and to the people you love.

I'm a graduate of the Boston University School of Social Work and I have a degree in art therapy. I've taught at Wheelock College previously. My work draws on the trauma research of Amanda Curtis and Patrick Teahan's Relationship Recovery Process. Over the years, I've worked with young people, adults, couples, and families, with a deep understanding of complicated families and childhood trauma.

Above all, I believe creativity and compassion are what allow my clients to feel grounded, whole-hearted, and worthy of love — and to build a life of real power and purpose.

How the group works

Action methods · A guided path

This group uses action methods — journaling, discussion, and role play — to safely explore and process emotions. Each session creates a supportive environment where members connect, learn about, and heal from trauma.

That sense of belonging lets members build relationships where they explore new ways of relating to themselves and to others. Through being witnessed and truly seen, members begin to live with more joy, peace, and power.
